GIVEAWAY NOW CLOSED

SUPPLIES:

  • 4oz Bottle with Atomizer
  • 4 oz Alcohol-Free Base
  • 5 Pipettes
  • 1 oz Glass Dropper
  • 2 test craft paper sheets
  • 5 Fragrance Vials (the following are included in the kit -- you can choose your own essential oils)
    • Jasmine
    • Lavender
    • Sweet Orange
    • Vanilla Bean
    • Sandalwood
  • Wax paper and gloves
  • FREE INSTRUCTIONAL VIDEO
  • optional: seaglass or other "bits" for decoration
*When you buy a Maker's Kit, ALL the supplies you need in the exact amounts you need are included. You WILL be paying more than if you buy the ingredients in bulk, but if this is your first foray into perfume-making, a kit is a fun and easy was to initiate yourself!

INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Before you begin mixing, you will want to test the fragrances.  Use the card provided, dip a tiny bit of each and rub it into the cardboard.  Sniff to see if you like it and which fragrances you would like to blend.  I ended up choosing a mixture of Vanilla and Sandalwood for a soft, earthy fragrance.

2. You have a large perfume bottle full of base and a smaller travel-sized dropper.  Take some of the base for the smaller container, then add your essential oils to make two of the same blend or contrasting fragrances.  Just don't mix up the droppers with different scents or your blend might start getting muddled with ALL the scents.  If there are a few scents you don't use, save them for other projects requiring fragrance oil!

3. Once the perfume is finished, you can decorate your bottle by adding pretty little bits to the glass bottle.
I love the look of tiny pieces of sea glass collected from our favorite beach - Glass Cove.

What a fabulous idea! I love that everything is included - kind of like the kits we used to buy as kids!

I would love to try the perfume or the lip balm kit. Too cool!
