DIY ::: Half-Circle Dangle Earrings with Aki
Hi guys it's Aki again from Minted Strawberry here today with yet another DIY jewelry tutorial. I was playing with some clay the other day and wanted to make unique-ish jewelry with it - at first I thought of making a scalloped bunting necklace in clay version, but then I changed my mind and it evolved into these one-of-a-kind half-circle dangle earrings.
Divide your circle in two by cutting it in half. Add holes on either end of the half circles by using a skewer stick. Bake them according to the instructions on the polymer clay package that you used - mine was at 275 degrees for 15 minutes. Do not overbake them or you'll risk scorching!
Now it's time to assemble the earrings! Use your jump rings to attach the earring hook on one end of the half circle and the bead dangle on the other end. I made the bead dangles by threading a bead cap, a bead and another bead cap onto one eyepin and looping the other end closed.
