Ready to give birth?? Going into the hospital for an extended stay?
It is never "fun" per se, but a few new products can make it much more pleasant!
This post is NOT sponsored by Burt's Bees, but you might see a lot because I loooooove it!

These are my favorites that I splurge on before baby is born. I save them for the hospital and it makes recovering feel more like a spa than a sterile hospital room. Trust me -- I've done this four times now and a few new "products" can make a WORLD of difference! You do not have to purchase expensive products, but simple things like a BRAND new tube of chapstick (you know how delicious that first swipe of chapstick is?? Even better when your lips are dry after birth!) and a BRAND new razor (even if it is just for your armpits at this point!) are nice little things for a new mom. Treat yourself a little, k? Here are my favorites that I pick up right before the birth. (PS -- Don't cheat and open them early. It is much more fun to open everything in the hospital. )
Classic Burt's Bees Chapstick (I stick with the classic, but lots of flavors and colors are available)
Burts Bees Almond Milk Hand Creme (This stuff is pricey, but lasts a long time and smells DIVINE!)
Burts Bees Cuticle Creme (Mine are always TRASHED by the time baby comes.)
Natural Sponges (Natural is better, but the cheapo ones at walmart are nice too -- just scratchy enough for the first shower after birth)
Johnson's Coconut Body Oil
Burt's Bees Baby Apricot Oil (for you AND baby!)
Facial Wipes (So you don't have to get out of bed to wash your face! I of course like these from Burt's Bees )
New comfy and warm socks, pjs and panties
The NEEDSLanolin (Breastfeeding moms -- this is a MUST -- not optional!!! Get it before you NEED it!)
A and D Diaper Creme (For your extra sensitive hormonal skin and razor burn -- particularly c-section moms!)
A pillow and throw blanket from home -- should SMELL like home
Baby diapers and sensitive wipes -- for you. If you give birth naturally, a newborn diaper dipped in regular tea and frozen can work wonders. (I know it is weird....trust me!) The sensitive wipes are nice for the bathroom -- again -- trust me.
