Diapers and Wipes and Potties - oh my!

past 6 months or so, we've been treading the downright awful water of potty training.  We are good for a few days, then the accidents are so bad that we revert back to good old diapers while we recover.  This journey seems to be taking longer with Baby #3 and it truly has made me extraordinarily fond of diapers.  Changing a diaper is a cakewalk compared to changing soiled underpants.  UGH.

Moving on -- SIMPLY RIGHT™ Baby Care was kind enough to send me a sampling of their diapers and wipes and I must admit I was happy to drop the potty training for a week or so while we tried them out.

In our house they are called the "super animal kind"  - no joke.  For some reason, the animal motif has really hit a chord.

For the price, the wipes are the real value in the bundle.  They are of a medium thickness and I haven't had one rip on me yet!  Not to mention they are the actual size a wipe SHOULD be.  Ever bought the cheapo wipes and the come out like 3x3 or something and feel like wet felt?  ugh.

My other favorite feature is the easy release lid.  I always get frustrated when wipes have those clasps that seem like they are protecting thousands of dollars and require two hands and a wrench to pry them open.  Who has two hands when changing a diaper?  Not I said the fry!

The back of the diaper has just enough give and just enough rouching to be comfy and keep things clean while the front tabs close securely and don't rip off like that other discount brand.  (I won't name names, but seriously, those diapers have sent me into serious hissy fits).

Thanks again to SIMPLY RIGHT™ Baby Care - we will be back!

(...just hopefully not for THIS GUY...let's get potty trained already, k??)

Oh Potty training.. I remember trying to potty train my 2 nephews and my niece. My niece went easy for some reason, the boys? Eh, not so much.. Little boys have THE worst aim in the world..LOL.. I love the photo.. He looks ready to go! :)
I remember potty training so well - it took us a looong time too! I think someone said to me that boys take longer to train and they were sooo right. Our Son had the attitude of, "well I don't have to clean it up" and couldn't care a less if he made a mess. Oh well, it's just one of the things you have to get though being parents!
