Snow Babies

I love babies.  I love baby plants, baby birds and baby babies.  I love them even more when they are covered in snow!

You might not be able to tell, but under that iron basket, there is a baby redbud tree poking iteself up through the snow bravely.
I wonder what babies will be living here in a few short months?
How many baby Nauntucket daisies are hidden in these seedheads?  Only spring will tell!
Ball jars hover over rose cuttings and peach tree seedlings to protect them from wind and weeds and give them a fighting start on life.
The true babies of this garden fly down the hills on sleds on this first fresh snow covering.
