I've never been scared of earthworms before....

Appropriately on the first day of spring, the earthworms came out in droves. We moved to our new house this fall, so I wasn't sure what shape the soil was in, so I was very happy when I heard my 2 year old yelling from the patio - "Mommy, look at all the snakes!" I ran out and this is what I saw:
massive fat earthworms all over...
I was actually a little scared by one monster worm when I tried to pull him out of the ground to add to the compost pile and he pulled back...hard. I had no idea earthworms had that much strength!

Spring also gave us this happy surprise...thank you to the previous owners!

What irritates me...

There are many things that irritate me more often than this sorry soul in everyday life (such as the phone ringing when the baby has just gone to sleep - AHH!), but after last night, this icky selfish bache-tard is by far the most irritating, awful, mean twit of a man...
