The New Nursery

The room is tiny, and we have squished a lot into it, but you should be able to get an idea of what the finished product looks like from the pictures shown here. We have spent a little under $150 for the room.

The clouds on the "sky" are the one thing that needs to be finished up....I am using a combination of paint and chalk and will post a finished product hopefully soon...

A skyview of the elephant in the room :)

This is a picture mid-building of the changing table.

New Nursery Bits and Pieces

Here are bits and pieces of the new nursery - I will post full photographs in the next post.

The new color scheme based on the "Dwell Studio" line from Target. I framed scraps of the fabric to place around the room (as seen in the first picture).

The new changing table/dresser/nursing station made from Dwell Studio bedding (polka dots" clearance fabric (blue), and salvaged pieces of trim from my hope chest.

More clearance fabric was used to make a cover for the window bench. It was hung with a dowel rod and buttons serving as finnials. Even more of the twill fabric was used to make drawstring laundry bags that hang from the sides of the new changing table.

The baby's new crib bedding and mobile.
