For the design blog - my question is...what is your biggest struggle/annoyance with decorating, home improvement projects, etc. What do you need the most help with? What projects are too expensive in today's economic climate for you to consider?

I was just talking about this with someone this week. My biggest decorating issue is finding the right coordinating pieces to bring a room together. We've been here for over 3 years and I have a big living room, but not much on the walls. I'm always thinking about it!

My biggest design challenge always comes down to comfort over style. I love sleek modern furniture, but have yet to find any that are really comfy. I have found amazingly comfy furniture that lacks any real style. Why can't I have both?

I personally think the biggest challenge is getting inspiration to even decorate! I am soooo not good with that.
On the home improvement projects, I would say those that could potentially kill my hubby (electrical) or make me want to kill my hubby if goes bad (plumbing)...yeah, those would be the two he won't be attempting! :-)

I LOVE the house and master bedroom pictures. We have the same taste in decorating. I wish you could come do my house. It is a ranch style. Not my favorite, but it was such a blessing to find this house when we did.
